What is SRE and how is it different from DevOps?

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is a discipline that applies software engineering principles to infrastructure and operations. While DevOps focuses on culture and practices to bridge development and operations, SRE provides specific practices and metrics (like SLOs and error budgets) to achieve reliability goals. In practice, I blend both approaches to deliver reliable, efficient systems.

How do you typically engage with clients?

I integrate directly into your existing communication tools (Slack, Teams, or similar) and work alongside your team. For projects, we'll define clear deliverables and milestones. For retainer clients, I become an extension of your team, available for questions, reviews, and hands-on work as needed.
